Evoke aviationI typed in the recently updated RaLink/MediaTek driver, MT7610U, and found an assortment of devices. I went ahead and started an eBay search based on the products from the WikiDevi page, but most of my findings were smaller, nano-based devices.
- MT7610U has a Linux driver that "works" but makes crappy Realtek drivers look like polished perfection. It does not follow basic kernel standards for important things like wireless regulatory domain and is not of sufficient quality to consider adding into LE.
- The original driver is PITA Both mt7610u and mt7612u can work with the same driver. but currently dont't. Code which is missing in one driver, may found in the other driver. i.e STA, AP, Monitor, RSSI, LED handling stuff.
